I shot one like that this yr in southern middle TN. Didn't realize how light it was till I put it next to another fan.

I've seen primary tips range to that light buff color, but I've definitely never seen an eastern with secondaries like that - where the tips are that light in color and "feathered" or "frayed" at the tips (whatever the best word is). Very cool bird.
