My boy's class headed up to D.C. today - were supposed to tour the White House tomorrow...NOPE. The Bolshevik closed it to tours in the sequester fight today...stating we don't have the money due to Congress not raising taxes.

In other news...

Yesterday the DHS purchased 2,700 Mine Resistant Armor Protected Vehicles.

Transportation Security Administration (TSA) frpaid $50-million to purchase new uniforms for its agents.�

Not to mention Sec of State Kerry running all over the Middle-East giving away billions in "foreign aid".

Guess what??

The people that guide the tours around the White House are all 100% [size]VOLUNTEERS [/size] they do NOT get paid a dime.

The uniform guards are all 100% Secret Service members and their budget is never cut. They will still be there like always and the ones that walked around with with the tour groups will still be on the job just doing other stuff, NO PAY CUT OR ANY JOB LOSS AT ALL.

I wish to God Obama would start acting like a President instead of the spoild child he still is that wants his way no mater what.

The reason for the cancellations, an official with the Secret Service told NBC News, is because the Uniformed Division Officers normally tasked with securing the tours will be reassigned to other security posts at the White House. That news reselase was put out on orders from on up.

There is NO PAY OR JOB CUT.

Guards have ALWAYS been asigned to the White House and the tours have NEVER caused any overtime. It's nothing but BS and Obama lovers will do and say anything to support their leader. The only time the Secret Service would see OVERTIME is when Obama decides to play golf or his wife decides to take ANOTHER VACATION. Those are NOT in any FIXED budget like the WH tours are.

When I had the private tour they explained it all to me how the tour was different than the regular tours and I learned from the SS people.

Hell it was ever on Fox & Friends this morning and they called out the White House on it and the press release as being 100% false.

Like the "Chief Calligrapher," Patricia A. Blair, who has an annual salary of $96,725, and her two deputies, Debra S. Brown, who gets paid $85,953 per year, and Richard T. Muffler, who gets paid $94,372 every year.

In all, the White House appears to employ 3 calligraphers for a yearly total of $277,050.

Despite sequestration, there's been no announcement of the White House scaling back on calligraphers.

I just got off the phone with my brother and we were talking about that privite tour and what they told us about the regular tours and the guards. He remembered it all too and agreed that the tours were totaly volunteer and the gurds were always the same number, 24/7/365. He says this is BS and an excuse that Obama supporters will eat up and blame others.

In fact he still has the phone number of the guy that took us around. He could call him up. He worked in the White House for 26 years so he knows the truth.
