I have 4 Tikkas and 0 Bergara rifles. My only Bergara experience didn't start well and ended back at the factory for accuracy issues. Everyone of my Tikkas are very accurate, and that's with the cheap stock. Aftermarket stocks and accessories are great also.
One thing that I really didn't like about the Bergara is the weight and the beefy woodsman stock just didn't feel that great to me.
I just recently picked up a NIB Remington 280 mountain rifle, the looks and feel of this rifle is what all rifles should be judged by. Did I say it's very accurate also... lol
Point being , pick up both the Bergara and the Tikka , shoulder them and see what feels the best and remember the lightest rifle will most likely be the one you'll take hunting. Both are great rifles, just pick what fits you.

No help here. They're both great guns, but I don't think I've ever heard anyone say they had accuracy problems with a Tikka.

I have a Remington 700 ADL Stainless Steel Mountain Rifle in 280....they only made that variant for one or two years back in 1992-93 when I bought it new....it originally came with a cheapo plastic stock but I swapped it out for a B&C Alaskan Ti stock and it's sweet! Excellent rifle and round..., you'll love it!

I also let TNRifleman talk me in to a B14 - Ridge in 300WM for my moose hunt next week...he didn't have to work too hard since he's let me handle and shoot several of his rifles over the years. Hopefully me and my other buddy Farichaser will both get to drop hammers next week!

Those guys make me giggle.
"My $3,000 Christensen only shoots .21" at 400yds 😭"
.
"Rebarrel it"

I just unboxed mine, slapped on a couple of Swiffer 6s & went to the range! 😄

Tough choice. I've got 2 Tikkas currently and have owned others and they are all shooters. I decided to try a Bergara HMR Wilderness in 6.5 PRC and it's a sub MOA shooter as well. Take your pic

First target is my Tikka 6.5 CM at 100 yards with handloads and 2nd target is a Bergara HMR with factory Hornady ammo sub MOA at 600 yards.
