Which do you think is better ?

The 6.5 Creedmoor or .260 Rem and how much difference performance wise ?

You get about 50fps more with the .260, but with a Creedmoor, you can load closer to the lands while maintaining mag length cartridges with more neck support. The general consensus seems to be that if you reload, go .260. If not, 6.5.

I'm considering one-or-the-other. Why do you prefer the creed?

Factory ammo, reloading supplies (brass), and resale give the creedmoor the nod imo. Performance is not goi to matter until you get into the full custom rigs, and even then is a coin toss imo. If it was me personally I'd get the 260, mostly because I'm not a vegan and not into crossfit.

Don't own either but if I was picking it would be the .260. First reason is because it's been around for years and it's a proven performance. Secondly I like having something different than others and seems everyone has the 6.5 just because it's the cool thing to have now.

I went to Cabela's during my lunch break. Remington had more 6.5 ammo on the shelves than they did for .260 REMINGTON. That should tell you something.
