How big are they? Could be Canadian moon seed.. poisonous!!


I don't see any tendrils, so likely moonseed.
Open one up and look at the seed. If it's shaped like a crescent moon, it's moonseed. Grape seeds are round.

Here are some pictures of a grape that I found. I think they are the Fox Grapes. I base this primarily on the points on the leaves and on the shape of the seeds. I read that the moonseeds have crescent shaped seeds, usually one to a grape. These have one or two seeds depending on the size of the grape and they are "rounded with a short beak" which is how I've seen them described for the Fox Grape. Also read that they have 2-6 seeds per grape but I'm not seeing that?? May look at some more but the grapes are little.

I'm not going to do anything with them. I brought some home to taste. They are not very flavorful; a little sweet-tart and musky, not quite bitter.
