What the heck is going on at UT?

This is posted in the political forum, but I think it's more societal than political.

First, if any Vol fans are planning to hit the Knox Vegas campus the week of April 7th for "Sex Week", be aware that they are seeking your donations. While the University may have withdrawn $11,145 in direct University funding after being pressured by State politicians, they are still letting $6700 in student fees go to this wonderful demonstration of cultural diversity.

�We support the process and the students involved, but we should not use state funds in this manner,� Chancellor Jimmy Cheek said in a statement.

Way to take stand for decency, Chancellor Cheek! What a relief to know that you continue to support the process and the students putting on this fine UT event! Who could ask for a better Chancellor of Tennessee's flagship University?

What a tragedy it would be if "noted lesbian bondage and leather expert", Sinclair Sexsmith, didn't have an equal opportunity to share her (or his?) expertise with the ladies of UT to help them further their college educations and better prepare themselves for the real world.

Let's just hope ole' Smokey isn't involved in any of the enlightening seminars they have planned.

Seriously, this is what happens when a full load is twelve hours per semester. Load those inquisitive minds with 18-20 hours a semester and see how much free time they have to waste. I haven't ever met a lesbian that was suitable for dating men with good vision anyway. Not too keen on watching two 1's get after it.

I have not seen any reports that indicate either Knoxville or UT Knoxville is 8th ranked or higher for LGBT population. Where are you are getting that from?

On a good note for all UT fans my uncle got the Bama alumni group kicked off campus after years of being allowed to use UT facilities..

With Pride month upon us, the point of all this is to note that Knoxville would seem to have a more active, more vibrant, more resourceful, and more resource-filled LGBT scene than most people might guess. And that�s more or less the point The Advocate magazine tried to make in its Jan. 9 issue, when it famously rated Knoxville number eight on its list of Gayest Cities in America.

Hopefully this is just a fad and these children will realize that all this is just a waste of time.

If it's not just a fad they should stick to the universities in California instead of spreading their anti- heterosexual hate speech in what use to be a top notch Tennessee University.

These people are the ones full of hate, easily they could go slap each others monkey's behind closed doors-but they want it in our face.

I kind of feel sorry for them, because somewhere something went very wrong and they just really are sick.
