what is the best 22 out there

For me it's my old Marlin 39a. I shot one that belonged to one of my dad's friends when I was young which had the octagonal barrel and liked it. As soon as I was old enough to buy my own I bought mine and have had it since back before a lot of you were born. I like others but it's always been my favorite.

I agree with Whelen Man,Marlin 39s are hard to beat. If you want to go lower end, Marlin Model 60. For the money u can't beat the accuracy of these little rifles out of the box. Triggers are a little heavy ,but will lighten up with use. Get the stainless model with the Black and Grey Laminated stock. They are sharp.

Daddy has a Kimber light varmint classic in 17M2 that is scary accurate.

my brother has a rugular bbl Kimber 22lr that shoots,,them CZ`s shoot too.

I have seen a CZ out shoot a Kimber, but it may have been the one behind the trigger. I have a Marlin 880 SQ that will shoot with any .22 I have ever seen. I put an aftermarket trigger in it and it is a tack driver.
