What is it worth?

I have an old gun that I believe to be british made... enfield .303
what is a gun like that worth...if anything... it has seen it's better days... but it is old...

Not nearly enough information to be able to give you any type of reasonably close estimate.... There were many types - variations of enfields made and for a long time. I would suggest going on line to one of the major Gun auction sites and try and find guns as close as possible to yours and see what they actually sell for .... (read not just what people are asking for them). You can also google it and you should be able to determine a good amount of info that will help you in determining a real price.

Not very much really, sorta like the Mosin-Nagant they are worth more the better the shape they are in. If it is one of the rarer models such as the older ones it will be worth more. Look on the side it should say Lee-Enfield Mk__ something. See what is says on the side then do a search for it. Should help. Ben.

Thanks guys... I will check on that stuff... It has been passed down to me... no real sentimental value to this gun... I just don't really know what to do with it...
It will be fun looking up though....
