One of our better years, 7 bucks off of 700 acres,
2-2.5yr
4-3.5yr
1-4.5-5.5yr
the 2.5 yrs should have not been shot IMO, one of them knew its has too young, but he starting counting points and shot an 11 pointer.
Most we have ever killed and truefully more than I wanted shot,
several of those will have to kill 2 does before they can shoot a buck again. 3-4 is usually what we do, but we had the most food planted ever, and timber cut in 2012 on part of the place
giving more cover, really need another 50 to 100 acres cut.
I can only control half the place so there will be some changes,
Our top 3 bucks were not shot, curious to see whats still there,
hope to have cameras back up over corn piles fairly quick
