So yesterday I took a trip to the high county in search of those little wild trout I love so much. Started out drifting nymphs through the deeper pools and runs. I was catching fish but getting hung up a lot, it's a rough stream to fish. Ended up moving down stream to a mile long run of pocket water with a dry tied on. To say it was on fire is a understatement! I have no idea how many fish I caught but it was a lot! Ended the day at the local fly shop and met a couple of hardcore guys that I follow on the "gram" and shot the bull for awhile. Came home and enjoyed a cold adult beverage and a cigar. Just don't get much better!

Awesome. I've always wanted to get off the main river and fish those small streams when I'm out that way. When in CO last year, we did that on some brook trout way up in the mountains in streams that were literally 2 feet wide and 6 inches deep. It was amazing just seeing fish there

I can put you on streams like that here in the southeast. Just give me a shout when you're ready.
