West Tn Dove fields?

Well yesterdays hunt was a bust.

Was supposed to go with some friend to Arkansas but the hunt was canceled due to a death in the family.

We decided to give the Wolf River WMA a try. Fields look good but just not really any birds around. We managed 2 birds.

Anybody else know of any good places to hunt?

looking myself.have you tried jon tully?its supposed to be a little over a hour from here.i was going to try this morning but decided against going in blind with no knowledge of area.i believe there are three fields.from what ive seen posted by others hunts.it appears there are not alot of birds flying anywere.

Went back to the Wolf river this afternoon

Shot well, was 1 for 1

Didn't see any other doves, place looks great though

How was opening day up there? I usually drive out before season but didn't have time...

I was not there last weekend, was out of town.

Looks like there has been quite a bit of shooting going on by the hulls left behind

They havent been burning it up at Tully from the reports ive received

snowing up north may start driving them south,only way to find out is to hunt lol
