Went walking today

Yesterday my brother was walking on our grandparents property, and found the 1st deer shed that either of us has seen. So I drove out there today, and only found an oldish Sprite bottle haha.....one day I will find that first true shed, instead of jaw bones and skulls haha

It was a nice looking shed for sure, but since he's not as much into the outdoors, he gave it to me...I say it was pretty fresh for sure.

Maybe you can find its match! Good luck. If you cover enough ground, you will find one at some point. Not a matter of if, but when. Just keep walking through the woods wherever the deer are.

Yep, it was his 1st deer related find, so I was happy for him.

That's my plan! Now that I know better bucks are loosing antlers now, when I get the time, I'll be in the woods and fields walking looking for the match and others.

nice looking rack, good size deer was under that as well, surely would mark where I found it for next season as well

Thanks! I'll be back out there looking for that match after the snow. We both looked yesterday for the other shed for about 4 hours and didn't find one, so the other may not have dropped yet.

Ferg: I know, forget not finding the other shed, that Sprite bottle made the day haha

And brmaster: When he showed me this shed, that was the 1st question I asked..."where?"...haha, so when I go back I will look for the match again around there, and for next season, I may have a new area to hunt around.
