I'm currently in the woods...NIce way to spend a comp day! :D
Anyway....just saw a spotted....yes spotted fawn that couldn't be more than a few weeks old! All by itself too?? What gives with that?? I'll post pic later.

He looks like a button buck. Mama might have been bred late because she was born last year. If she is gone he won't go anywhere and hopefully he will make it through the winter since he was born so late. I had a doe die right next to the house from EHD three months ago. She had twin buttons the same size as that one. Coyotes got one and the other decided it was safer to hang around our house. We started feeding him and did a plot just for him. He is huge now and has the longest buttons I have ever seen. They are like 2 1/2 inches long! I figure he will be a hoss in three years.
