Well I think I finally got the bug

I do believe I am going to go one afternoon this week and check out a stand and probably trim a couple limbs.
Hasn't been hunted in about 2 years best I can remember.
Winter wheat in the field last year made it impractical to hunt.
A kill would result in close to a mile drag to the truck, all uphill.

Hmmm, well durn, I just realized what week it was.
Maybe I will get it ready for a Friday afternoon hunt then hit it again when muzzleloader opens. LOL

Man, it seems like just yesterday there is no way I could forget about juvenile season.

Maybe the bug will last till smokepole time.

Cant wait to get in the woods this weekend. I'll be taking my gf's boy on his first ever hunt. He is 13!!! I'M PUMPED
