I bought a pair of these this year after seeing a lot of positive reviews. Overall they are good, but I find at first and last light they are almost worthless when looking in direction of brightening and setting sky. They reflect a lot of glare from the sky. I can look away from the brightening sky to the west and they are fine.

Has anyone else experienced this problem with Vortex Diamondbacks?

I've had a number of pairs of Nikons and Leupolds and not had this same problem to this degree.

Vortex glass is simply not up to.speed with Its competitors in the similar price points.

Leupold has been my choice the last few years but I have a few pair of Ziess I like as well. I have some 20 year old Swarovski that are still really good glass but some of my newer ones are getting there and lighter weight so I find myself carrying them more.
