Vortex Customer Service/Warranty

Speaking of Vortex, a friend came over to the shop with his rifle that he had dropped on concrete and bent the eye piece so bad that you couldn't turn the power selector. I told him I would print a shipping label and send it back, that was 10 days ago, UPS just dropped off a brand new Vortex. It would be hard to argue about there warranty and service.
 
The guy at the counter told me I could buy the scope, take it out and throw it down on the concrete floor, then give it back to them for a warranty claim/replacement. I have 3 of them that I have bought new, along with other brands, but they hold their own for short range competition, and mine are fine for LR plinking.

I have two of their cheaper optics
A three to nine by 40 I think it's a crossfire and an LVPO
I have looked through other inexpensive scopes these are definitely clearer
Now I'm not saying I take them out and dial them all over the place because I have not but they seem to hold zero fairly well
Seems like a pretty decent piece they sell for the money on the low-end ones at least
