Might be a little early but I went ahead and put some beans and some lettuce in the ground.

My wife caught the Spring bug Friday and put in a LOT more...Okra, Squash, various peppers, and tomatoes. Its a raised bed that gets morning sun so hopefully we will be OK.

I like the idea of running string up to the fence. That might be a common thing, but I've never seen it personally. The beans/peas I planted are close to the fence, so I might just have to give that a shot. I bought a large tomato cage to use for them, but that looks even better.

Yikes! My counterparts on the Day shift just lowered the low temperature to 36 Tuesday morning.

Low of 29 here. We always wait till May 1st to plant. Everyone knows you cant trust a Meteorologist. :whistle:

35 tonight and 36 tomorrow night in Shelby County. I put out a frost Advisory for tonight. ...but hopefully the wind will keep frost to a minimum tonight.

Rosemary, Basil, Thyme, Cilantro

Cucumber, Blackberry and Watermelon:

My blueberries aren't doing real well:

Okra is just starting to come up
