I had one coming in Friday by UPS and there was 6 inches of fresh snow on the ground plus it was still snowing. UPS did not come but I got another package though the US Mail, the mail lady set it beside my front door. UPS is suppose to be back today, the main highway is open but my driveway is not. They will come.

Oh yeah they will come.
Back several years ago my buddy was ran off the road by one.
He was running about 40 mph on a back road with about 8 inches of snow on it.
My buddy had to take the ditch or become a big brown truck hood ornament.
Took us an hour and two tractors to get him out.
Driver never checked up.

My buddy had his wife and 2 of his kids in the truck with him when it happened.
He made about 3 phone calls and sure enough that driver was fired due to it.

i had to check on Dad at the retirement village yesterday. USPS jeeps were out in Jackson with chains on their rear wheels. I guess they were delivering those Amazon packages.
i'm taking a break getting the ice off the steps at work now so they can make it to the door.

It's been rescheduled due to inclimate weather, just as I figured.

They called us back to the center around 5:45pm today in Franklin. Could have gone longer but they didn't want to take the chance I guess.

If its a long driveway that is too slick, most drivers wont go up it. They kept all the rural routes at home today because of the snow.

I had a FedEx package scheduled for delivery yesterday, and it did not come, and the tracking information on my app has been updated with today as the new delivery date. It is not something I have to have so no worries on my part. I did not expect it to get here yesterday, and would not be surprised if it does not make it today. Our main roads are passable, but most of the back roads, especially the shaded ones, are a solid sheet of ice.

I must be in the boonies then cause it still hasn't made it. No worries though I'm in no hurry. I even cleaned my driveway for them.

That's the Bartlett hub for you and it doesn't take inclemate weather for that to happen.

Been there, done that.

I got the Bartlett Managers personal cell phone number if you ever need it.

Sorry 280, I got mine.

The UPS driver was covered head to toe with little cats eyes cut out of his balaclava.

I think he was still really cold.

Funny thing my wife said the UPS truck was delivering in the neighborhood today... but my package is delayed due to the weather.

I'm sure you could call the local hub if it's close and fairly convenient and you could pick it up

I'm not complaining just making conservation, I'm pretty sure the drivers have their hands full with deliveries and considering the road conditions it's pretty normal. I actually found out the UPS delivery guy slid off the road in my neighborhood so I can only assume my package was on his truck... hopefully it'll come tomorrow.
