I have 4 nice foodplots on my ground( mixes of wheat, oats, DER, and AWP's) on the plateau. I had some mowed fields that I did not get to till/plant due to time constraints. I took some left over purple tops and spread amongst the mowed weeds 4. weeks ago. This weekend I saw that the turnips were comming up everywhere but where very small. My question is; will those small sprouts continue to grow or is it too late in the year for them to become anything? I have planted turnips before just never this late. Thanks for any help! BTW- the deer are mowing my existing plots and there has not been a good acorn found all year. The does taken this weekend were noticebly void of fat!
