Finally got a chance to get out and hunt near the house. Want to take one more doe.
Stopped at the end of the road and there 4 deer. They watched me get out and start spraying scent killer when 3 took off. One big doe remained at 25yds, so I nocked an arrow but she started to wander off. Oh well.
Started into the woods and after about 75 yards bumped 2 deer. Dang it.
Looked farther down the trail and saw a decent buck looking at me from about 75yds. At this point I just decided to pack it in so as not to cause too much disruption.
Dry and warm in the house!
Back out tonight and everything was great; owl, blue heron and a spike wandering around my tree. Goodsit.
