I bet the gobble and strut normal, but being able to hear them in wind and rain, if it does wind and rain will be the factor. I be most gobblers are bunched up into groups still, and these groups could either be lonely looking for hens and looking for fights (I like fighting spurs this time of year on special occasions), or the gobblers will have several hens with them.

I personally like dealing with them when they are completely alone, I think it is easier to call them up. But it is cool to have them big flocks and watch them fight and gobble. Whatever they do, good luck to yall
