yes i know its over and yes i know that squirrel(yay) and dove(woot) and deer(YEAA) seasons are about to start but gosh dangitt i wanna be hunting turkey i miss it so bad already so mr tom enjoy your safety from my citori for now but im coming with avengence in april

Fall turkey is pretty dang fun. Its actually my favorite. Alot of spot and stalk.

cant make myself kill a gobbler in the fall. I hope they make it till spring so I can call them in gobbling. Not enough turkeys in my neck of the woods to be shooting in the fall.

I'll shoot a gobbler or hen during the fall, but no poults of course. Since I will mainly be hunting for meat I just want a good sized one. If I do get a longbeard this fall, that will be my first longbeard. lol

The whitetail rut is awesome, but I really just use it to get a small fix until I can hunt turkeys again in the Spring.
