So it's ok to spy on the democrat's emails??? Great!!!!

This is no different than what the IRS did while Obama was in office. They PICKED OUT ONE POLITICAL GROUP to block their tax status, that group just happen to be the republicans.

It is WRONG to use the power of the GOVT to spy on political opponents!!!

That is what National Socialist Germany did and the Banana Republics do.

You'd think someone that claimed to be "outed" would appreciate privacy a bit more, wouldn't you.

Well, seems wrong to me, but then, I don't see things like some "good socialist democrats" who believe in rules for thee but not for me.

Remember Richard Nixon and "Watergate"?
What his associates did wasn't as big a deal as what the NSA is currently doing.
But he actually got kicked out of the Presidency over it.
Too bad he wasn't labeled a "democrat" as perhaps then he would have served his full term?

Oh, I think it is definitely wrong.

I just said I was curious.

No, I think it is wrong. I simply said I was curious - I think it's interesting to see what media figures REALLY think vs what they say and show.

But I don't see people here condemning the Trump Administration for seizing reporters phone records (that story is still developing) so it's hard for me to take the criticism seriously.

The DOJ has been spying for the last 20 years under the last 3 presidents, usually for the purpose of searching for leakers.
AG Garland recently said that he would stop the DOJ from doing any more spying, but apparently that doesn't affect the NSA.
If the NSA has the right to spy on citizens, then you have to wonder if it's criminal for an NSA whistleblower to leak such a warning to Tucker.
If the NSA isn't trustworthy then maybe they need to plug their own leaker, unless that leaker was authorized to warn Tucker that he should protect his sources by other means.
Even Michael Cohen said that Trump doesn't use emails when conducting business for the Trump Org.
Emails are not secure, everyone should realize that.

Did the previous administration also not take dangerous steps in regards to seizing reporters phone records?

It would seem to me this is a much bigger problem than one president.
