I use to fuss about the slot limit on the Clinch until I saw the improvement in the fishing. I am 60 years old and can remember times when as a kid. Seeing a trout like seeing a deer was an event to celebrate.

I had forgotten they bumped it to 24. I don't keep any of them. Just enjoy catching one now and then. Liked to eat the ones out of the mountains but can't handle the ones here.

Yea the regs are a bit steep on the browns. There are plenty of them in the Caney now. I went about a week ago to fish from 6 until dark, caught ten. 9 browns that had to be thrown back, 1 brook that went in the freezer. For the drive out there I'd like to come back with more than one trout...
