This is beyond ridiculous. I've been quite while everyone has said "this or that" is ruining college sports. While I did agree somewhat, it's only going to get worse and worse.

I believe I read that they were looking into shortening the windows for transfers. Two much shorter periods during the year.

This is about getting them to the NFL or NBA and not doing anything that could appear to violate their "Right" to have their shot.. Academic Standards will be next to go. With this in place, just call it what it is - the NFL minors. Remove it from the college world and let actual student athletes play for the schools.

If the NCAA doesn't want to do that, then put restrictions in place on scholarships. Whether it's force every scholarship to be locked in/locked out for four years, or tie them to graduation rates, either one will slow this ridiculous crap down.
