Bought to put in a new 4 ton trane 16 seer dual fuel on lp gas packaged system with programmable themstat and 10 year warranty on all parts an labor any suggestions before I pull the trigger on it it's gonna replace a 4 ton heil gas pack 10 seer that's 15 years old any ideas on savings

Yea they are suppose to come check vents to make sure getting proper air and make sure size is right tomorrow
It has the dual stage compressor and they say that is suppose to help on the humidity and bills

Here in middle tn my dad's unit runs mostly on the heat pump mode. It has a factory setting for the heat pump to turn off and gas to turn on based on outside temp.

Program it accordingly. No need for a programmable if you want it to stay same temp all the time.

Which way is most efficient and saves most money didn't no if it was good with temp varrying so much all the time
