Stopped by the local gun shop yesterday and they had a box of 5.56 tracer rounds. Freedom munitions for $27 and some change for 50 rounds. Of course I bought them. After getting in the truck I opened them and they looked just like ball ammo. No color on them anywhere. I shot 3 rounds when I got home because I was doubting they were tracer rounds but shore enough they are. The first round was yellow the second red and the third was green. Just couldn't believe I got them for less than .60 a round.

Just a word to the wise; tracer rounds should not be fired unless conditions are extremely wet. Don't ask me how I know.

I know excatly how I know. I got to put the fire out that was burning between the runways after qualifying. Just don't ask where I was at.
