My sons project manager was doing something yesterday morning and crushed the end of his index finger.
They ended up having to take it off at the first joint.
He said he was back in the shop by lunch.

Cut a digit off at work one time, back to work same day. Boss made me fill out my own accident report since I was the supervisor 😂 several years later the company was selling and I got a 900 check in the mail with a letter saying it was compensation, if signed can’t sue. Signed it

I have an uncle that lost a couple fingers below knuckle (press operator in the 60's). His wife has some pics with the stub in his nose. Looks like he is scratching his brain.

Actually had an employee go to the ER because of a paper cut on his arm.

I asked him, you want a bandaid he said it needs stitches I said I bet they throw you out.

The folks at Jackson Memorial in Miami were kind of ruthless back then. They told him to leave and had him escorted out.

I have at least two stories about the place that directly involved me.
