...and the worst part of the way this storm is setting up is that Road Crews will not be able to treat the roads. It would be a waste of time and resources, the rain before the changeover to freezing rain/sleet would wash away the treatment brine.

I'm west of Nashville. I'm already planning on staying home, kids will not be in school. Stopping by Publix on my way home today. Gonna grab some proteins to grill out the next day or so, box of wine, and some pop tarts.

The worst of it should be West of Nashville. The Winter Weather Watch (portions likely to be upgraded to a Warning very soon) extends as far East as Dickson County. Nashville is under an Advisory that extends as far East as Crossville.

Those should be ok on snow, but terrible on ice.

I use Blizzaks for this. This afternoon I will be looking for a challenge. I will go up a hill in Murfreesboro called Tiger Hill. It's supposed to be the steepest hill close to here.
