Tomato plants dying!

Anyone else having to deal with the tomato blight? I have got 6 plants that I may not have in a day or 2. I will still have about 30 plants but who knows how many of the will get it. They start out looking like rust on the leaves then they start drying up blooms and all

Sprinkle you some epsom salt around them.

Thanks I will. I put lime around the ground when I planted hoping that would prevent this. I will definatly do the Epsom salt

Lime helps with Blossom End Rot.

WC is right. Starting with the lime was the best thing I EVER did!

What does the Epsom salt do?

Epsom salt is magnesium. Tomatoes love it and are Mg hogs.

Can it be mixed in the dirt under the plant at this stage in the game or wait until next year at early spring?

It can be mixed with the soil but at this point I would water it in.

Oh... you can also foliar feed them. Take a sprayer and put 1-2 drops of dawn dish washing liquid and 1 tablespoon of epsoms salt per gallon of water and soak your plants. Do it just before dark. Don't spray them when the sun is on them.
