Well, its time. We are in the process of getting ready for our 2nd annual deer expo. We already hung several, several mounts last nite, and are expecting lots today. If you guys dont have anything to do, ride by and check it out. TWRA will be scoring from 1-3pm, and main display opens at 5pm. Its free. If you want a deer scored, or want to display a mount,or rack, come on down. Hope to see you.

Here is your chance. Bring your mounts or racks to the west Tn. fairgrounds and get him scored by TWRA. Tell your friends. This event is free and open to anyone. We also invite anyone who has a deer scored, or who would like to bring a mount or rack to display them that night at our NWTF banquet.

We will have a ribeye steak dinner, silent and live auction, and have lots of guns and prizes to be given away. Kids 10 and under eat free.It will be a great night of fun. Also, sign up for thr RR corn and beans. If you just want to see the deer display during the fundraiser, come by, again, its FREE! If you like big deer, dont miss it. This is a Family event, No alcohol. We need your deer! Pm me for details, or info on dinner tickets. Hope to see alot of TN deer members.

Had a decent turnout. Bout fifty nice ones, with most just from local friends we know. We decided after the show thats its not worth the effort, and this will be our last year doing the display. Funny, you have to beg people to bring a mount to display it. I'd be tickled to death to show one. Congrats to Brit Todd, who won the Remington rifle and scope for bringing a beatiful buck with dryed velvet still on part of his rack. I'm worn out, I'm disapointed, I'm done.

Yea, I wasnt talking about anyone in paticular, We tried for several years to have a nice deer expo, figured lots of people would like to come and see big deer. I love to see different bucks, especially ones with character. We though it would be a big draw, and again, it was free. I noticed last year at the big show in Nashville, with the big buck contest, that very few showed up. We had several 170s, and lots of 130s -140s, one in the 180s. We had a good time. Guess its much easier to look at pics on a computer.
