For anyone interested in learning how to hunt bears in the south east without dogs, these guys know how to get it done. There is alot of knowledge here for anyone interested. I have heard alot of people say it's almost impossible to take a bear in TN without dogs but these guys do it every year on Cohutta wma that joins our South Cherokee wma. Here's the link. https://forum.gon.com/forums/bear-hunting.113/

A bear hunt is on my to do list this season. I've kinda lost interest in deer hunting and am looking for something new.

If you're going to be stupid, you'd better be tough!

Been covered up but haven't seen a legal bear yet. Saw a sow and a cub Saturday, watched them play in a mudhole about 30 minutes. Jumped a very big bear out of a bed and found tons of sign. Maybe next weekend.
