Food Plots They hit it hard

They were in it pretty good during deer season but man they hit it hard right before the snow till now. It was a mixture of Brassica, forage oats, and white clover.

My turnips got crushed before November. Glad the wheat and oats are starting to pop back up

That is interesting. Tried purple tops and several other types of brassicas mixes over the years and after first frost had deer eat just the greens for a few days then left them alone. Deer would walk through my plots to eat pasture grass. Turnips left to rot.

Ours did the same until about mid-Jan / early Feb. Except for ours, the fields would be full of them, then be gone by the following week.
