I am pleased with the DER I planted alone (or mixed with oats/wheat). HOwever, I wonder why they mowed some patches down in November and didn't hardly touch others until now. They've nibbled on all of it all season but some patches they absolutely mowed down 6 weeks ago and some they didn't.

Any thoughts on this?

Same batch of seed, planted same day.

Very common experience. No one knows why deer choose one plant from one plot but not from another plot. It is probably tiny differences in chemical soil make-up (micro-nutrients).
