I wasn't the one in the news, the Trump supporter was.
You just want to attack the messenger instead of staying on topic.
Why would I fear Trump when I voted for him?
Your're the one that took down your own flag and quit the GOP, so you're the one who fears something.
There's a US flag flying in front of my house, you're the one that sees something wrong with flying the US flag that makes you afraid.
You can't accept the change of POTUS and that makes you angry and afraid.

YOU are the one posting about Trump!!!

You are the one doing that guy's work, KEEPING TRUMP IN THE NEWS!!!!!

Now YOU want to switch subjects and attack ME over stuff that has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE THREAD YOU started !!!!!! LOL!!!!!

I guess baseball games are only good for political theater when it is players bootlicking BLM.

I think that you know why the MLB owners don't allow political signs in the stadium, because they can incite violence, especially when folks are drinking.
People pay to enjoy watching the game, and not to be bothered by others soliciting for their political cause.
I don't see MLB players making demands on behalf of BLM.
It seems that it's the MLB owners who have tried to accommodate BLM.
Like most of the US public, the owners are mostly sympathetic to the BLM message of anti-racism and
anti-discrimination which are considered benign.
And in recent years the MLB players have been the least politically activist of all of the pro team sports.

Perhaps they are.
But if you look at the alternatives, folks consider BLM to be far less objectionable than the New Black Panther Party for example.

Funny how the liberals still fear Trump. You can make every excuse you want and quote CNN, but they still fear him.
I don't fear Trump. (Then again, I'm not really "the left").

I'm just glad I don't have to listen to him parade out in front of microphones and ramble.

Wrong.
Hockey is.
They were accused by minority players of a lot of racist acts within the league.
Since the George Floyd riots, the league has became very pro-BLM as a way to save public face.
Because NHL teams play in all of the largest cities, they felt a need to show sympathy.

With the message “END RACISM” on the video screens around him, the Wild defenseman made a passionate speech about racial injustice on behalf of the league and the Hockey Diversity Alliance.

Why did you listen to him then?????

You HAVE made several posts being pro-socialists and how socialism works in other countries BEFORE you had ALL your posts removed and your name changed.

So YES, you really are part of the left.

Sure - but I'm also part of the right. Why does it have to be one or the other?

I hold beliefs that the typical "liberal" thinking would strongly disagree with.

The endless need to divide and classify everyone is poisonous.

YES it is. Why do you think the left has made EVERYTHING about RACE and Black against White????? THAT is 100% what BLM is doing.

Wrong again.
I didn't bring it up at all, but simply responded to Spurhunter who made a valid point about BLM.
Why can't you stand other members actually discussing political issues?

That's due to the nature of majority - minority group relations.
When a group such as whites are in the majority and hold most of the positions of power, then they become the group that needs to help end prejudice.
The minorities are the ones with the grievances, so they want to stand up and be counted as voicing a complaint against the white majority in power.

No party of the left or right wants to admit that it's okay to be prejudiced.
But pointing the finger at BLM is like blaming the victims of discrimination for speaking out.
That's why more people are willing to blame the bad cops for the current racial problems than to blame BLM.
The prejudice existed long before BLM did,

why does he want to use a baseball game for political theater?
Why do the leftists feel the need to use sports to push the sickness and moral decay of the democrats through sports in general??

The idea for a free thinker with common sense as the president scares the crap out of the leftists.

He made his little speech last year, did his kneeling thing, but not much activity since.
As far as minorities getting treated bad in sports, I wonder how the white guys in the NBA get treated.
Racism goes both ways.
