World Net Daily has commissioned a poll of gun owners, and reported the following lie:

A new poll indicates only 1 in 5 gun owners would be willing to give up their firearms if the government demanded it.

�In other words, the government has a huge fight on its hands if it tries to implement a gun confiscation program,� said pollster Fritz Wenzel of Wenzel Strategies.

A surprisingly high percentage of those who call themselves �very liberal� also would not allow their guns to be confiscated, the poll shows.

In the course of my wanderings to and fro during a week, I talk with a lot of varied people. I donot know of a single one including three preachers who said they would give up their guns without a fight.

Crappi, I don't understand your logic. Are you saying 80-90% of gun owners would willing surrender their guns? I understand some of the thinking behind the voluntary gun turnin stuff. That is different from our government saying we HAD TO surrender all firearms. I would think 10-15% is more realistic when it is a federal mandate.

Heck I can pick out a few on here that would TURN us in.

And I agree with Crappie Luck. When the rubber meets the road a majority will surrender their arms. The left isn't stupid. There won't be a march down the road going door to door. They're going to get them through Obamacare diagnosis, schools tricking your kids into turning you in, public ridicule... the list goes on.

We will be down to 3% before you know it.

I won't argue on behalf of what people say. But history has shown that people WILL surrender their arms when told.

This is the scary truth. But I hope we don't dwindle all the way down to 3%
