Teacher Removed For Incorrectly ‘Labeling’ Child

A teacher is rightfully choosing to take legal action against the secondary school he currently works for. The reason is because he was suspended for referring to a biological female student as “girl.”

Joshua Sutcliffe, the teacher who was suspended, is saying that he was not trained in gender politics and shouldn’t have to accept the new age transgender ideology as his christian faith doesn’t support it.

He was suspended for saying “well done, girls” to female students which included the child who “identified” as male.

In a letter to his higher up’s the teacher wrote:

“As a Christian, I do not share your belief in the ideology of transgenderism.”

“I do not believe that young children should be encouraged to self-select a ‘gender’ which may be different from their biological sex.”

“Or that everyone at school should adjust their behaviour to accommodate such a ‘transition’; or that people should be punished for lack of enthusiasm about it.”

Feel obliged to note that this story left out that this is a school in England. Not that it couldn't happen here; but after reading the comments section, seems like most of the people do not realize this little fact.

On a side note, there is talk of policy in TN (maybe in the US) that would guarantee students their first amendment rights in class by holding the instructor responsible if the student is not allowed to speak their mind or express themselves. In other words, the instructor could be targeted by a lawsuit and would not be protected by an institution's legal counsel. This would mainly be relevant to colleges, since the majority of students in secondary schools are minors.

Imagine if you will a classroom where the instructor has no reasonable expectation for moderating student conversation (or visual expression) without the fear of being held liable for limiting their first amendment rights...

Describing the person as a "Child" is age assumption.

"It" might identify as an adult.

The transgender issue will, is becoming the same thing as playing the race card and they know it. We have a couple students who left 7th grade as girls and came back this year with boy's names. One of them along with their mother is playing for all it's worth. Ironic, one them had to leave class and go home because he was having his period!
