I tried to sell one of these in the summer and got very little interest. I'm going to list it in the classifieds again, but is my asking price of $500 too high? Seemed pretty reasonable to me.

I know what you mean. You paid high dollar, but now you have to give it away or pay someone to take it! I did same on my SS Blk. Dia. Gave over $300 several years back and offers now are $150 or less. I wear mine out before i do that fer that price!

You're probably right. I've got enough into it that I probably won't go lower, in fact, I'll probably throw more money at it and put a thumbhole stock on it. That way I can have even more money tied up in a gun that just sits in the cabinet. ;-)
