Couple questions around taxidermy repair work:

My mounted turkey had his head broken off...is this repairable?
If so, how would be reasonable for such a repair?
Would another taxidermist make the repair or should it go back to the original artist if possible?

I would venture to guess any taxidermist worth their salt could repair it just fine and you wouldn't be able to even tell.

If there isn't one that you want to use close by, bring it next time you come up and my guy will be able to do it.

You were trying to blow it's head off when it was alive but now you're worried about keeping the head intact now that it's dead? Something don't add up here ;)

I would start with the original taxidermist if you feel comfortable with his work. If not go to RUGER's guy if you ever come to town. He's not bad for a 9 fingered taxidermist!
