Taxidermy middle TN area

was gonna post in the taxidermy thread but doesnt seem like a lot of traffic in there. Anyone know a reputable deer taxidermist in the middle TN area thats still doing them for under $500? My previous guy that did my last 2 has gone up in price from $350 to $600 now lol so I cant afford that anymore. I fully understand the work it takes and dont expect it to be cheap but was hoping to find someone still around that does a good job that I can afford.

If it was a 170inch deer I wouldnt mind as much but with my son still having 2 tags and hopes he gets a good one I need to figure out if its possible for me to save some money incase I have to do his as well.

Cripple creek in Murfreesboro. Takes him about a year but does awesome work. He did this one last year for me. Has two more of mine he's finishing up

He did a bobcat for me when he first started out. It was the second one he had ever done and it turned out great. Had some issues on a turkey and my brother had some issues as well but most of that was around lack of communication when he first started. He basically didn't have enough freezer space and was not using the FIFO method. Water under the bridge and I may very well give him a call.

My boy took his to odems taxidermy in readyville he was quoted 500 said should be done around june/ july

Well I just put $300 down at Wilson taxidermy in franklin... $600 for a shoulder mount and I was told just under a year turnaround. He does good work

Had one done by Michael Glass a couple years ago and got another one there now. Does awesome work. Shoulder is 6 I believe. Well worth it imo.

Save yourself some money and heart ache by doing a euro.
If anyone is doing shoulder mounts for under $500 they are cutting serious corners or suck at math.

Wallace Taxidermy in Waverly has one my boy killed on Juvenile. They charge $450. I had them do one for me back in 16 and they did a really good job. I hope they still do.
