Thanks so much for intervening in the trout hatchery issues and requiring TVA to stand up to it's responsibility to maintain the immensely valuable recreational and economic benefits that we now have in the TVA region. From the wasteland of barren TVA TAILWATER rivers prior to the implementation of reoxygenation , minimum low regimes, and sound fisheries biology , our region is now known among serious trout enthusiasts as the Montana of the east. It is a national fishing destination. By allowing TVA to walk away from its moral responsibility to enhance the only valuable fishery that can exist in these tailwaters, we would lose an irreplaceable recreational and economic asset in our region. And this asset can be maintained for a pittance in terms of the annual TVA budget. Literally a few pennies a year from its electric ratepayers.
I sincerely appreciate your prior assistance and truth you will use your good offices to influence TVA TO MAKE THE RIGHT MORAL AND ECONOMIC DECISION FOR THE CONTINUATION OF THE EXCELLENT TAILWATER TROUT FISHING ASSETS WE NOW ENJOY IN THIS REGION. THANKS LAMAR.
