I always found this kinda funny. When you go to an amusement park or NASCAR or a football game you pay them. There is a reason companies pay people to work and you have to pay for entertainment. If you hate your job look for another one but if you’re looking for something you love beware as you may not love it 40 hours a week for 30 or 40 years. There may in fact be a very few very lucky people who find just the right job but even then I suspect it’s a lot more about attitude than anything external

Important! I spent 10 years not doing this as well as not paying myself. It was a near disaster. You must be respected and compensated well to be all you can be! Even if your self employed!
I don't make as much $ but I'm a lot happier. I'm usually alone so A LOT less drama.

I always had the dream of being a gigolo for beautiful women.
Turns out I look more like Mr Magoo rather than Brad Pitt and I always smell like Hoppes #9...so that was kind of a no-go.
I had to figure something else out.

Worked for others until I realized that working for other people didnt make me truly happy or fufilled and really all I was doing was making someone else rich and giving them a nice retirement.

Self employment and multiple career paths became my life for a few decades.
I took semi-retirement a little over a year ago and just work a couple of days a week.
Maybe full retirement this coming year...
