As many of you know I escort a group of guys over to hunt in South Africa once a year. Next year's trip is around the end of August. If anyone is interested let me know as now is the time to make the plans. I have two guys going and would like two more. Wives and children also welcome. PM me for details if interested. Our website is www.tgsafari.co.za

2020 was a wash due to Covid but 2021 we are back to 100% operation. You just have to have a negative Covid test preflight coming and going. Travel is a breeze as the airports are not busy.

Always issues somewhere. Africa/South Africa is a big place. Kind of like saying I'm not going to Florida because people getting shot left and right in Chicago.

I've been to SA three times, twice with Dave, and have at least two or three more trips planned with next year being one of them. Never felt unsafe while there. I'd much rather go to SA than Florida any day! Trophy Game Safaris is a great outfit, if you can swing it I'd definitely recommend going. Bad thing is it's like eating potato chips, you can't just go one time, it gets in your blood!

I lived in Capetown for over 2 years. Man that is pretty country. I would think that once you get away from the main cities things settle down pretty fast. Out there away from the city most of the local folks just want to live and work. The country is just breath taking. Kudu up the wazoo, so to speak.

Still looking for two more guys or girls to join our group. Couples and families also welcome. Our camp is set up for either single or families or both.

This would be a family trip to remember for sure. The next time my wife brings up going to beach or mountains for a week, I think the kids and I will have a discussion and family vote. We just need to plan for it. Life is short.

I would also bet these hunts are a lot less physically demanding than anything in Alaska.

We have enough areas to fit the physical condition of the client. We can trek through the mountains over rocky uneven ground at 5000-7000 feet or walk in the valleys on flat sandy ground. If client has a disability then we can hunt from blinds.
