I watched, "Fallen", on Netflix the other day and came across some numbers.
After Sept 11, 2001 we went to war in Afghanistan to get al-Qaeda. From the start of that war until 2014 when Obama "officially" declared an end of the war 1,832 American soldiers died over there.
In that very same period of time 2,181 Police Officers lost their lives in the line of duty while on the job. Not in some war torn third world country but right here in OUR country. This happened right here in our country, our states, our cities, in our streets, our neighbors and our very homes.
