I forged this blade out and forgot about it until I cleaned off my work bench last week. Finished it up for a different look. I used a light colored wood for the handle and blued the blade. This knife started life as a scrap roof bolt from a coal mine, but has a new lease on life now. Hope you guys like it as much as I do.

Nice work, Stykbow. What kind of set up do you have for forging? I've always had an interest in that for maybe doing a little of what you are doing as well as forging butt plates and trigger guards.

Congratulations on great work.

I hope you picked up a lot of those bolts.

I made a forge. If you saw it you’d laugh. It’s a brake drum and I use an old hairdryer for a blower. I run coal in it. Really I think anyone could do this. I’ve been kicking around the idea of making some ML parts, but I’m short on a rifle to pattern them for.

I appreciate the kind words guys. I wish I was a better photographer because that pic doesn’t do this knife justice.
