felt decent today had to go Pay some Bills so on the way back I thought I would check on my hunting property I lease from. I new a guy had bought the property all the way around it and heard he was a horse farmer which scared me. Well this is what I seen It broke my heart to see all this Land Clear Cut and Dozed. It was a great piece of land for me close to home no one else but me on it a full of deer. Well I guess thats over. The pics are far off but all together thats about 80 acres clear cut and dozed out for a horse farm. The field in the first pic is where I hunted that funnel comming up is where I have killed every deer I have ever killed on that property.

I can't see the pictures but I don't have to. I've seen the exact same thing happen way too close and I know exactly what you are feeling. It makes you sick in the pit of your stomach almost like losing a family member. Unfortunately the only thing you can do to stop it is buy land yourself.

This is exactly why I want the area I live in to remain economically depressed and as undesirable as possible for outsiders. I do not like CHANGE or HOPE. As soon as you get economic growth, you get outsiders buying up the land, cutting woods down, city limits move out on you to tax you, land prices go up, locals can't outbid doctors, lawyers, horesfarmers, etc. from the nearest city and the whole look of the area changes for the worse. Sorry to hear this has hit your favorite spot.
