I'd never tried them before yesterday. Someone bought them as an appetizer and I tried one. Not great, but not bad either. So I tried another. I've never tried something that held so much smoky flavor.

Fast forward to yesterday evening… I was battling the uncontrollable flatulents, and they were stinky. I have to assume that it was the oysters.

Went hunting this morning and the farts had not subsided at all. I kept breaking wind uncontrollably, and the only way that I can describe it is "otherworldly." I was gagging myself, and I swear that a squirrel fell out of a tree beside me. I think I know why I didn't see any deer this morning, but it was enjoyable being out there. I just felt that I needed to apologize to the wildlife.

Anyone else experienced this affect from smoked oysters before?

Did you see any deer? I have a hard time eating oysters from a can. Now if you are talking throwing oysters on the half shell on the grill with a little butter and garlic, I am all over those.

I loved oysters, but the most unique Oyster dish I have had was oyster dressing (Think Thanksgiving).

NO farts.
