Smoked 14 and 16 pound butterballs yesterday will pull the meat from one for today's meal. Seems our family likes it better pulled. So how do you prepare your birds, sliced or pulled?

Depends on the crowd, if it's "those people", the breast gets sliced, every thing else gets pulled. The carcass and skin and whatnot goes in the stockpot with red bell, onion, garlic, celery, carrots, and pan drippings with white wine, to become stock. This gives me an excuse to be in another room. If I'm baking a chicken, I'm with people I want to be with and every thing gets pulled, stock gets made later and taco meat is ready to go for later around the fire pit. I like to play with my food.
