I rarely deer hunt this time of year due to waterfowl coming in to season. Can anyone share any log notes as to when second rut comes in to play in northern middle TN? I still have buck tags and want to maximize my deer for duck hunt trade.

That is impossible to answer unless you can tell us exactly when the first rut happened. Usually the does that don't get bred the first time around and the ones that may have been too young to come in the first time, will go back into/into esterous 28 days later. If you know when the first rut happened, then you may be able to deduce when the second one will happen. For instance, If your rut was the second weekend of ML then this weekend may be a good time to get in the woods.
