LEupold VX1 or this http://www.amazon.com/Leupold-114933-VX ... eupold+Hog

I bought one of these to give to my son for his Bday and loved it so much I bought one for my Muzzleloader. It's one of the clearest and brightest scopes I have ever purchased in the $200 price range. It hangs with the VX3 glass I bought recently. Really the only difference I can tell is right at twilight, I may get another two min of clear definition out of the VX3. For legal shooting light and shooting at deer it's all I will ever need. I really got it for hog busting though.

Call Doug at camerland, they are getting rid of inventory.
Here are some examples of mark downs but I would stay with something that has a excellent warranty.
One that come to mind that is equilvant to the Leupold VX1 is the Redfield revolution, it has an lifetime warranty and is on sale for 159.00.
I have a Redfield revolution on my CZ .223 and they are a lot of scope for the money and wouldn't hesitate buying another one.

Just some information for you to ponder on about the Redfield.

I have a couple of the Redfield Revolutions, Vortex Diamondbacks and Burris FFIIs and I don't think you could go wrong with any of those three. Nikon I avoid like the plague! Everyone likes to brag about the last few minutes of light they can get with more expensive scopes but any of them will get you past LEGAL shooting light.

I use zeiss and swarovski but, if you want a great scope for the $$, call Scotty at cameraland and get the vortex viper 3 x 9 x 40 with bdc reticle for $260 ish. Or get the zeiss conquest 3x9x40 for $299 from him.
